I never thought to be an inspiration, but if I can inspire anyone to support this cause, I ask the Lord to let me shine. After surgery and chemo, finishing my treatment was like a rebirth — a sign that I was meant to take my story to whichever part of the world I could and be part of the change. That lead me to Komen and to these events, which makes it possible for so many others in our community to have access to the services they need.
