Please support me as I commit to my 22nd Susan G. Komen 3-Day. I started my journey in 2002 when I walked the 60 miles in Atlanta. I am not going to say that walking was not hard , but it was NOT as hard as breast cancer. It was NOT as hard as chemo. It was NOT as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It was NOT as hard as saying goodbye. Think about that.
And that’s why I know I must continue on this journey. I will be crewing this August in Denver.
Breast cancer is not in the news like it was when I first began. But that doesn’t mean it is gone. Just ask those that have lost mothers, sisters, aunts, grandmothers, husbands, fathers, uncles, brothers, or best friends to breast cancer. I could go on. And that’s why you, my supporters, continue to donate. You are the ones who help get this done. Thank you for your past support and your continued support.
