In 2009 Team Are We There Yet? Was formed. Our team has raised $287,458 since then. This money has made a real difference. A patient getting the diagnosis of Breast Cancer today has the right to expect to live a long life. Survival rates, even of more advanced Cancer, have increased and give reason for optimism. The other somewhat intangible gift of the 3 day is the amazing gift of giving a survivor their power back. After navigating the diagnosis and treatment where sometimes the best one can do is put one foot in front of the other, it is a bit of a miracle that the 3 Day – 60 mile challenge parallels this journey. It seems nearly impossible to walk 60 miles in 3 days. It seems way too much to raise $2300. But with one step in front of the other you will reach your goal. Survivors and walkers do not give up!
