In 2011, my sister, Rae and I participated in our first Susan G. Komen 3 Day-60 Mile breast cancer walk thinking we would walk once and be done. So many of our friends had dealt with breast cancer and we knew we needed to do something to help. Never in our wildest dreams did we think we would still be walking each year, but here we are! In 2012 my daughter, Jennifer along with my friend, Terri joined our team and we have continued to gain teammates each and every year since!  It was a life-changing experience for us as we met survivors, fighters, and families of those who lost their battle with this beast. Please join us as we come together as our team, Sole-cial Butterflies continues taking on this bold challenge in the fight to end breast cancer. Walking 20 miles a day for 3 straight days is hard, but not as hard as breast cancer. We won’t stop until breast cancer does and we hope you will join us for the Dallas-Ft. Worth 3 Day-60 Mile walk on October 27-29, 2023.
