Please support me as I commit to participate in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day 60-mile walk. It will be challenging, but nowhere near as challenging as dealing with the realities of a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment or the all too often failure of both, especially in poor, rural and underrepresented communities plagued by persistently insufficient access to medical services. I hope that my efforts to raise money in support of breast cancer research, however small, when combined with the efforts of thousands and our supporters, will help close this seemingly intractable gap in care and outcomes. That’s why I’ve committed to walk 60 miles over three days in late summer heat!   Together we will end breast cancer forever.
