My daughter and I are walking in the Chicago 1-Day just before my 70th birthday! (I'm also walking in the 3-Day in my hometown of Denver in August so I'll be well prepared for the 1-Day!) In both events, I'm walking with an amazing team, Angels 4 Angels.

Having lost my twin to MBC at age 47, caring for my mother-in-law as she lost her breasts to cancer, seeing my sister-in-law and her sister as well as dear friends survive breast cancer's demanding treatments and then surviving my own breast cancer at age 67... I'm determined to support the research for the prevention and cure of this disease. I've recently learned that a male neighbor has been afflicted and will undergo the same process I did to address my breast cancer...no one is safe from this disease.
