Please support me as I commit to an incredible challenge. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as hearing my mom tell me she has breast cancer. And that’s why I know I have to do this. That’s why I’ve joined the Youth Corps and why I’m raising money – to end breast cancer forever.
The Youth Corps is a group of kids between 10-16 years old that are all affected by breast cancer. For me, it’s my mom. She’s been fighting metastatic breast cancer for almost 2 years. She is doing good and doesn’t look sick, but she has days when she’s very tired. She tells us that the medicine she takes is still beating the cancer but someday it will not work. She walked this event last year and made a lot of friends so she’s doing it again this year. I will be there to help support her and everyone else. I get to help set things up, have a group sleepover, cheer for all the walkers, and fundraise for Susan G. Komen to help find a cure for my mom. Please help by making a donation. Thank you!
