I want to share some exciting news! This November one of my very best friends and I will be participating in the Susan G. Koman 3-day walk. Last October, Berkeley was diagnosed with breast cancer. Much to her surprise, especially being in her 40’s without prior family history, she was not excused from this disease at any given time. She is recovering from her first surgery and will continue with her treatment throughout this year.
As many of you know, Susan G. Koman has been at the forefront of the battle against breast cancer, working towards finding a cure, supporting those affected, and raising awareness about this disease. By participating in the walk, I aim to contribute to the ongoing efforts to make a difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer. Berkeley and I are walking 60 miles to celebrate her, my Stepmother and others that are here today, in support of those who are not healthy enough to walk, and in honor of those who have lost their battle.
Thank you for your support in helping me raise donations for this amazing foundation!
