For my friend, Lynn. This is her story:
“This is personal. I went from clean mammogram in October 2022... to lump discovered in self-examination in April 2023... to Stage 3 IDC Breast Cancer. I've completed chemo, surgery, radiation, and have just begun endocrine therapy. So now in survivor mode... I walk to end this EVIL disease.”
Lynn's Bosom Buddies will do the 3-day, 60-mile walk in Boston at the end of August. We would love for you to support our team’s journey... all cheerleaders welcome!
I will also be walking for my family & friends:
Diane Adamczyk, Survivor
Emily Maranto, Survivor
Fakhri Mozaffarpournouri, Survivor
Hillary Dean, Survivor
Heather St.Denis, Survivor
Edith Bradshaw, Remembered
Please support me as I commit to an incredible challenge. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. And that’s why I know I have to do this. That’s why I’m walking and why I’m raising money – to end breast cancer forever.
