Nearly 6 years ago, my little sister was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. With three small children and being such an important piece of our family, we were all scared out of our minds. Fortunately my sister is a badass and stepped up to fight cancer. During the process, we found a genetic mutation that likely caused her cancer. Finding that mutation gives us the power to reduce the risk of cancer for the rest of our family, including future generations.
All of this happens because of organizations like Susan G. Komen. Your support makes early detection, research and treatment possible.
My sister went through hell and back and has proven that she is one of the strongest people I know. We're walking 60 miles in 3 days to celebrate her being cancer free for 5 years, in all transparency, I suggested a nice beach vacation, but this was her choice. This is going to majorly suck, but not as bad as cancer. Please support me in our fight to end breast cancer by making a donation by clicking the links above.
