The Power of Crew Fundraising
Each crew member is required to pay a $90 registration fee. Crew members are not required to fundraise. However, they are encouraged to do so, and receive the same support and fundraising advice as our walkers. In 2012, crew members raised more than $980,000. What an impact on the fight to end breast cancer!

All-Crew Meeting
All crew members are required to attend the All-Crew Meeting on the Thursday before the event. Mark your calendars now and plan to spend the afternoon picking up your crew t-shirts, meeting your crew team and preparing with the final details for your participation in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day®.

Crew Partnerships
Our goal is to get involved with the local community as much as possible. We have opportunities available for local Medical, Sports Medicine and Ambulance partnerships. Please call 800-996-3DAY and ask for the Medical Manager for more information.

Crew Teams
The Komen 3-Day Crew is divided into several teams to help us accomplish all of the tasks needed for the event. Each role is important! Functions and physical requirements vary from team to team.

Youth Corps
The Susan G. Komen 3-Day® Youth Corps is a specialized team that allows young people from the ages of 10 to 16 to participate as crew members on the event. Youth Corps members will attend the entire Komen 3-Day event (accompanied by a small group of Crew Captains), tent at night in camp with the participants and complete a multitude of important tasks both on the route and in camp. Each Youth Corps member will be required to raise $500 by the time of the event in order to participate. Read the Youth Corps Team description and FAQ.

If you know someone between 10-16 years old who might be interested in joining the 3-Day® Youth Corps, the steps to apply for the Youth Corps are:

  1. Parent submits a Consent for Communication with Minors form.
  2. Youth and parent watch the Youth Corps Information Webinar.
  3. Youth and parent attend a phone Q&A (optional). Search for a Q&A on our calendar.
  4. Youth completes the online application (application link will be provided after we confirm you have watched the webinar).
  5. Youth schedules a 15-minute phone interview with the Youth Corps Captain.
