The Susan G. Komen 3-Day® simply would not be possible without the dedication and commitment of the Komen 3-Day Crew. Step up to serve as the backbone of the event, bringing it to life, and becoming the support system for the walkers every step of the way.
Registration for the Chicago 3-Day Crew has reached capacity and is now closed, with the exception of the medical crew. Registration for the New England, Dallas/Fort Worth and San Diego 3-Day Crews is still open.
All crew members, except medical crew members, will have a $100 fundraising minimum requirement in order to participate. We hope you’ll understand how critical it is that we all raise funds for the fight to end breast cancer and how your support is needed in this. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a unique large-scale event, and having a fundraising minimum allows us to provide a good experience and still send the maximum amount of funds to Komen’s mission to end breast cancer.
We provide the same fundraising tools and support to crew members that we provide to our walkers. We are confident that our crew members can easily meet and exceed their fundraising goal. In 2021, crew members raised more than $800 on average, without a fundraising requirement.
The major difference is how much time you are able to commit. You should register as a crew member if you can dedicate yourself to three full days, plus attending a crew team meeting on the Thursday afternoon before the event, and can commit to fundraising at least $100. Volunteer opportunities are generally a commitment of a few hours during a single day and have no fundraising component. Click here for information about volunteering.
The 3-Day Crew is divided into many teams to help us accomplish all of the tasks needed for the event. Each role is important! Functions and physical requirements vary from team to team. Read all of the Crew Team Descriptions.
All crew members are required to attend a crew team meeting on the Thursday afternoon before the event to meet your crew team and prepare the final details for your participation.
