Start your training off on the right foot! You're probably not ready to walk a 60-mile journey just yet, but our Training Kick-Off Event will get you started. You’ll feel surrounded by the inspiring Susan G. Komen 3-Day® community and get some miles under your belt!

Coach Alex is excited to meet participants at Wash Park at 8:45 a.m. for stretching and a quick welcome before a 9:00 a.m. start to our 5-mile walk. We will meet at the southmost end of the park near the tennis courts and walk through the park and surrounding neighborhood. Coach Alex recommends parking in the Denver South High School parking lot, or street parking. There are restrooms available at the start/finish and midway point of the walk and we recommend sunscreen and a hat. Coach Alex will provide a post walk treat!
