Start your training off on the right foot! You're probably not ready to walk a 60-mile journey just yet, but our Training Kick-Off Event will get you started. You’ll feel surrounded by the inspiring Susan G. Komen 3-Day® community and get some miles under your belt!

 

Coach Heather is excited to meet participants in the parking lot at Andy Brown Park West at 9:00 a.m. for stretching and a quick welcome. Participants should look for balloons and/or signs to identify our meet-up location, but plan on parking closest to N. Denton Tap Road. We will begin our roughly 4-mile walk at 9:15 a.m., led by our awesome Training Walk Leader, Patti Rieder. Please be sure to bring a water bottle or sports drink. There are plenty of restrooms available and we recommend sunscreen and bug spray as we will be spending some time on a trail.

 

If you have any friends or family interested in the Komen 3-Day, bring them along! We promise they will leave motivated by our amazing 3-Day community and inspired to join us.
