20 years ago, Walt and I did the 3 Day Walk to honor my mother. Her name was Linda and this ugly disease took her life in 2004. It makes me sad when I think of all the life and love she has missed. I am grateful to have the opportunity to walk these 60 miles in memory of my mom and the numerous friends and family whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer. I am turning 60 in September and so it feels like a pretty incredible challenge to walk 60 miles over the course of 3 days. It will be difficult but not as difficult as breast cancer. Not as hard as surgery or radiation or chemo. Not as painful as getting bad news on your latest scan or having to say goodbye. That's why I have to do this. That is why I am asking you to, please support me as I commit to the challenge of this walk and to raising money to end breast cancer forever.
