I need your help!!

Please support me as I take an amazing journey in the fight to end
breast cancer! The Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure? is a
60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds from the Susan
G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure? are invested in breast cancer
research and community programs.

You can probably think of someone you know that has been affected by
this disease - maybe it is you, or a family member, friend, co-worker
or maybe a neighbor. Research has come so far and so many women are
now becoming survivors of this disease, but until there is a cure,
research is vital.

Please help me in my mission to help fight Breast Cancer. I'm willing
to the do the hard part and walk the 60 miles - please support my
efforts and help me reach my goal of $2,500 with a donation today. You
can make a one time donation or sign up for a recurring donation over
2, 3 or 4 months.

Thank you!!
Michele

Lesson Learned
So I took advantage of the beautiful weather last Friday and took the day off from work. My goal was to get a nice long training walk in before the busy weekend hit. After lathering up in sunscreen, I set out for a 13 mile walk. The weather was perfect - sunny, but not too hot with a little breeze here and there. I finished it up in 4 1/2 hours with 3 stops along the way for pit and hydration stops - 3 hours 55 minutes of walking.
The next morning though, I learned my lesson. Even when you think you have slathered the sunscreen, do it again and hit every open exposed ounce of skin. I missed a spot on one shoulder and forgot about putting sunscreen on the back of my legs - my calves from the back of my knees to my ankles were a shade of pink that does not belong on a body.
With the walk being in July, I will make sure that the sunscreen is the first thing packed in my bag! Lesson Learned!!
