I need your help!!

Please support me as I take an amazing journey in the fight to end
breast cancer! The Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure? is a
60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds from the Susan
G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure? are invested in breast cancer
research and community programs.

You can probably think of someone you know that has been affected by
this disease - maybe it is you, or a family member, friend, co-worker
or maybe a neighbor. Research has come so far and so many women are
now becoming survivors of this disease, but until there is a cure,
research is vital.

Please help me in my mission to help fight Breast Cancer. I'm willing
to the do the hard part and walk the 60 miles - please support my
efforts and help me reach my goal of $2,500 with a donation today. You
can make a one time donation or sign up for a recurring donation over
2, 3 or 4 months.

Thank you!!
Michele

14 weeks left to train
I'm down to only 14 weeks left for training - just over 3 months. This weekend I walked 21 miles from Friday to Sunday. I'm finding that the most challenging part of the training for me has been the time management. Saturday's 10 miles took me about 6 hours to complete - only 3 of those hours was actually walking. The rest of the time was doing laundry, back and forth to karate, packing kid and husband for overnight trip with Cub Scouts, lunch for the kids...the list goes on. My husband has been great and is very supportive, but there is never enough hours in the day.
Sunday's walk was outside and it was a beautiful day to walk and leave my household duties behind for a few hours. Thanks to Eric for taking the kids to the movies so I didn't have to worry about feeling like I was skipping out on the family.
As the weeks get closer and the training walks longer, I will just keep my end goal in mind - this is all for a wonderful cause and I just hope that all my work WILL make a difference in the lifes of many women and their families who are coping with the challenges of a breast cancer diagnosis. That makes it all worth it!!
