All righty...one more walk. I have one more walk in me. I wasn't going to do it this year because this thing just beats the hell out of my body and every year it gets rougher. The plan was to take another year off and dive into bike riding and starting to jog, but...
A couple friends are in the middle of treatment, and want me to walk.
Another friend is celebrating her 20th walk--TWENTY OF THE SUCKERS!--and I want to be there for it.
I want to be there. She's faster than I am and I probably won't be able to keep up, but I want to be there.
Same drill as every year--I need to raise $2300 to walk. 85% of that money goes to research, treatment, and patient support. The rest supports the walk expenses--it does not line the pockets of the administration.
Also, and I can't stress this enough, at the end of Day Three I get a spiffy t-shirt when I cross the finish.
Help me get my t-shirt.
I need another t-shirt.
