I have walked 32 3-Days in the past 7 years to honor my late wife Martha and to fight back against the metastatic breast cancer that took her from us. 2020 has provided unprecedented challenges forcing the postponement of all the walks until 2021. But I cannot sit back and wait so I have committed to walk the 120 miles I had planned to do and added another 120 miles for Making Strides against Breast Cancer. I will be covering all 240 miles in 24 days or less in one contiguous loop all around the twin cities. The goal is aggressive and will not be easy, but neither is Cancer. I have to continue the fight to honor, support, and prevent. I know the timing of this is not good, but it is a need that cannot be ignored. Please consider a donation today, anything you can provide is huge help.
Thank you so much,
Please support me as I commit to an incredible challenge. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. And that’s why I know I have to do this. That’s why I commit. That’s why I’m walking and why I’m raising money – to end breast cancer forever.
