Thanks for taking the time to visit my participants page. I really appreicate your support as I take my 8th & 9th journey with the Breast Cancer 3Day. The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days.

In 2009, I will challenge myself to participate in two 3Day Events. First, I will make the journey in Washington DC, where I will join thousands of others who will train for months, make personel sacrifices and raise millions of dollars in order to help erradicate a disease that claims the lives of far too many men and women each year.

Then, I will travel to Philadlephia, where I will serve as volunteer crew. I will work long hours, turn an empty field into a camp city, pick up trash and do whatever is necessary to ensure that the walkers in Philadelphia have an amazing experience.

The people that I have met in my 3Day journeys, the stories that I have heard and the committment that is made to end this disease makes the 3Day experiences some of the most awe-inspiring of my life.

I am so committed to this journey, to the cause, its mission and the hope that some day no one will ever have to hear the words "you have breast cancer". Won't you please help me reach my fundraising goal.
