Join us on an amazing journey in the fight against breast cancer! The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment.
The Mississippi Melons walked in Dallas in 2008 as a brand new team of 4 raising almost $9000! In 2009 we are a team of 16 dedicated and energetic women, working together and determined to make a difference in the battle to end breast cancer and will raise in excess of $36,000. We look forward to the challenge of San Francisco in 2009! We are excited to welcome new our team members and look forward to breaking them in!
We are planning the 2nd annual Mississippi Melons golf tournament on the Coast and are hosting the 1st Annual Debra Turner Golf Tournament in North Mississippi as well!
