This is my 12th year of fundraising and walking for the breast cancer cause. I have completed 100 long distance walks (5120 miles) and raised over $1,026,000. This year I will be walking in 14 events, including 5 of the Breast Cancer 3Days. I am walking to challenge my 70 yr. old body. I am fundraising to raise as much money as I can to support research and access to care. I am doing this for my friend Karen, who says that she is alive because of medications she receives from clinical trials. I am doing this for my 3 daughters and my 5 granddaughters.
