Rain Rain Go Away
My fear right now, walking in the rain, sleeping in the rain. The rain is so scary to me. I trained some in the rain, but nothing that would prepare me for 2 days in the rain.
Simply, please don't rain this weekend. I will be headed to philly on thursday evening and my brother will pick me up. We are then staying over at a hotel of my choosing, i dont think he liked the one i picked. But i did not want him to have to sleep on a pull out bed. Then up very early to be at opening ceremony for 6 or 630 am. Then 20 miles of walking.
I hear there is a chance I will see gwen and sariena on saturday and so i am super excited about it.
Come out everyone and call me or text me to let me know when and where i might see you. Would love to see people while i am walking, it is SUCH a motivator.
My mom and dad are in aruba til sunday night, and i will miss them not being at closing ceremony, but standing with my brother will be great.
Very excited about what this weekend holds.

Halfway there!
So the cruise is tomorrow night, and I am still waiting for some of the money to come in for the tickets. But then after Pam Q's mom bought her tickets today for the cruise, I reached a big level.
I am halfway to my goal. To be halfway there and still know more money is coming in is just great.
I still have about 7 or 8 tickets left for tomorrow night (and still hoping Gwen and Sariena might make it). So if you don't have plans yet, please come out, have some fun, support a great cause, and enjoy the diverse group of people that are coming out to support me.
Thanks everyone for your donations, the words of encouragement, and especially the letters you might send so that when I am walking I take a part of you with me.

Send me letters!
I mentioned before I would love people to send me letters. I can read them at dinner and throughout the day. Really these letters made a big difference to me. If you have donated, what is an extra 44 cents and some time? If you have not donated, please write me a letter, it will mean so much to me!

If you want to make a $20 donation per ticket, for accress on the cruise on Wednesday September 23rd at 7pm. You can do that on here. Just then provide your email and I can mail the ticket to you. As long as you purchase more than a week before the cruise.

Wednesday September 23rd
So, I am having a fundraising event on Wednesday, September 23rd. It is a boat cruise- FIRE ON THE WATER- with both Brazilian and top 40 music. VIP access is at 6:00pm, the boat leaves at 7:30pm and returns at 10:00pm. All proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer 3-Day, I am asking $20 per ticket.
