Help say goodbye to breast cancer

In 2007, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. A little over a year later, our team of 25 walkers raised $85,000 in the fight against breast cancer. I'm back for another year. Please join me in saying goodbye to breast cancer forever!

In the beginning of 2009, I learned of two young women who lost their lives to breast cancer--one was 40 and the other was under 40. The two women together left 5 young children to be raised without their mother. This continues to fuel my mission. It is because of the money raised through the 3-Day and other Susan G. Komen initiatives that the cure rates continue to increase, chemotherapy continues to get more precise and effective and diagnostics continue to get better. I can't stop on my mission until this disease is behind us. More and more younger women are being touched by this disease and too many young children are having to watch their mothers lose their hair, endure multiple surgeries and go through difficult chemotherapy treatments.
