Help Me Fight!

Dear Friends and Family,

As you all know, I lost my mother, Paula Popp Lega, to breast cancer when I was 2 years old. Growing up I have realized how much cancer has not only affected me, but everyone in some way. I have decided to join the fight against breast cancer by participating in a three day walk on August 7-9 where I will be walking 60 miles. Each step that I will take will be for everyone who has been affected by cancer.

In order to partipate in the walk I have to raise $2300. All of this money will go towards the Susan G. Komen Foundation to further breast cancer research. If I did not think I was capable of raising this money I would not have signed up. However, as most of you know I am determined enough to raise the money and complete the walk. I will not stop until the money is raised, because I believe so strongly in this cause.
