I am my Mother's Daughter

My mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in September 2008. The news came as a shock as there is no family history of Breast Cancer at all.

On August 7-9 I will take this walk in honor of my Mom as well as other friends who have fought this disease. I will also walk in memory of my Aunt Debi who lost her battle so many years ago.

I must reach my minimum goal of $2,300 to paticipate. So please support me as I take an amazing journey in the fight against breast cancer! The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment.

Why we walk
