The team that adopted me in 2007!

Dreaming of warmth ...
As I write this, there is a thick blanket of snow on the ground. AGAIN. Every year, I register for the 3-Day in January and hope that when August rolls around, Mother Nature will be moderate.
This will be my sixth event. Every time I register to walk, I can't fathom topping the previous year's 3-Day experience, and yet every year, I meet even more amazing people. The 3-Day universe is overflowing with more love and kindness than you can imagine. I make my living with words, and yet, I cannot adequately describe, fully, life on the 3-Day. I write post-walk letters to my contributors and those come close to capturing the spirit, but I can't fully convey the feelings to you. It's simply something you have to experience for yourself.
Everyone asks why I walk, and the answer is simply this: I walk because I can. And I will continue to walk until a cure is found.
The search for a cure is funded by your generosity. Over the years, I've been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from my friends and family. I'm sure this year will leave me as astonished as ever.
I recognize that everyone's financial situation is different. It's not the amount of your contribution, it's the gesture of support that I so appreciate. Contributions start at $5.
Please support me as I take yet another amazing journey in the fight against breast cancer. The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment.
All my love and thanks, Beth
