Let's Do This!
2021 was a year that I had to stand still because of health issues. It was a year to reflect. Whenever I found myself doubting how far I could go, I would remember how far I have come. I would remember everything I have faced, all the battles I've won and all the fears I've overcome. I had surgery in January 2022 in Connecticut, and I am ready to keep fighting for a cure.
With that said, my journey does not compare to those fighting breast cancer, for those who have fought, those who will fight breast cancer, for those who fought and for those we have lost to breast cancer. I walk because I can, and I will keep fighting. I began my 3-Day journey after an amazing friend was sent home too soon. I made a promise to her I would keep fighting for her. Then a few years after she passed another friend was sent home too soon and as of today way too many special friends and family members have been taken from us too soon from this horrible disease. So, I walk for them. I will keep my promise and I will never forget.
I am a 3-Day Walker, an alumnus, and a friend. I'll keep walking until we know there's an end to this horrible disease.
Please support me as I continue my journey to help find a cure for Breast Cancer. I will be walking New England in August and San Diego in November.
I truly appreciate your donations, support and kindness that I have received over the years. I couldn't continue this journey without you, so THANK YOU!
