What would you do to end breast cancer? Last year, I walked 60 miles in 2 weeks as part of Komen’s 3 Day Nation. This year, I’m committing to the full Komen 3 day experience, in Dallas/Fort Worth, November 4-6. 60 miles, 3 Days. It’s about making a bold statement. One that says I won’t stop until we find the cure for this horrible disease. I am looking forward to going back to the full experience post COVID --- It’s time to spend those miles with others, being inspired by their stories and sharing my own!
This year marks event number 11 for me. Why do I continue to do this? Because I HAVE to do something until that cure is found. I started this journey because I lost my mom to Breast Cancer in 1997. So much has changed in the breast cancer fight since then, but we aren’t quite there. This cause devoted is to helping women discover breast cancer early enough to beat it and is committed to finally finding a cure. I hope that you'll share this incredible adventure with me -- by supporting me in my fundraising efforts and following my journey! I’ll spend the summer making sure I’m ready to walk 20 miles a day and get up and do it again…. And again.
As always, there is a fundraising requirement. I’ve set my goal at $18,000 — about what we raised last year. I need your help to make that happen. Would you please consider making a tax deductible donation? A dollar for every mile that I'll be walking ($60) would be wonderful gesture, but whatever amount is right for you would be appreciated.
Please support me as I take an amazing journey in the fight against breast cancer! Net proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment. If you can’t support me this year, can you pass along my message and help me spread the word? Thank you in advance for your generosity!
