Please support me as I commit to an incredible challenge. I will be walking 20 miles for The Susan G. Komen 3-Day with 5 of my closest friends. Five years ago I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. I endured chemo, radiation and several surgeries and fortunately am in the ‘no detectable disease’ phase. My ‘chemo bestie’, Erin was not so lucky and lost her hard fought battle at age 35. We have all been touched by cancer and would love to end this awful disease by promoting early detection and donating for research to find a cure. It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. And that’s why I know I have to do this. That’s why I commit. That’s why I’m walking and why I’m raising money – to end breast cancer forever.
