It has been 12 years since I was diagnosed and treated for breast cancer and this will be my 8th 3-Day Walk.  I can tell you in no uncertain terms that, while walking 60 miles in 3 days is hard, it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo or a battery of surgeries. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. And that’s why I know I have to do this. That’s why I commit. That’s why I’m walking and why I’m raising money – to end breast cancer forever.
