Dear family and friends,
I have committed to walking in the 3-Day this year with my old walking buddies!! While I have not done this in several years (frankly, I am a bit nervous about raising the necessary donations to support this cause) I am more than confident I can walk the 60 miles. I am now here asking for your help. I always think about Father Brosnan from St Pius X back in San Antonio (you have to go to the wayback machine for this one - 1990's). Anyway, he always said, "If everyone does a little, no one has to do a lot". So, if you would like to support me and moreover, try and help find a cure for cancer, follow the link and make a donation. I have lost dear friends, had family go through this several times, and currently a family member is fighting this exact cancer. I could go on here, but am getting a bit choked up right now. If you can help financially thank you; if not, a nice word of support will be appreciated as well.
Please support me as I commit to an incredible challenge. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day® is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. And that’s why I know I have to do this. That’s why I commit. That’s why I’m walking and why I’m raising money – to end breast cancer forever.
If you are unable to donate online, please print out a donation form.
