Please support me as I once again commit to an incredible challenge. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day® is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. And that’s why I know I have to do this. That’s why I commit. That’s why I’m walking and why I’m raising money – to end breast cancer forever.
In 2019 I walked with my sister Kristin to honor the memory of our mother Bev just a year after her death. In November 2020 I will be walking in San Diego with my friend Lida. We will still walk as team Just.Keep.Going. in memory of my mom and all those in our lives affected by breast cancer.
One of the most memorable family vacations for me as a kid was two weeks in California, driving up the coast. It seems fitting to walk in memory of my mom in a place that we once traveled together. Maybe this will be my last walk, maybe it won't. What I do know is right now I will Just. Keep. Going.
