If you've known me for awhile, you know much this cause means to me. You may remember that I created the Las Bombas team back in 2005 with only 5 people and every year we got bigger and bigger. We've won biggest team several times and team that raised the most money too! I captained this team from 2005-2009 and had to let it go due to my business. Jacki, one of the survivors on our team, took the team over and several of them continued walking every single year until 2018! To date the team has raised about $820K! This year, Jacki reached out to me to tell me it would be the last year she would be walking and would I be interested in walking one last time with the team.....in New England?! I didn't even need to think twice! First of all, Jacki has done so much for this team and this fight against breast cancer that I wanted to honor and thank her for all she's done. Second of all, it will be in Boston, which is in my home state! I've crewed in San Franscisco and walker stalked in San Diego but I've only walked in Phoenix. So my journey for 2019 has begun. There are several ways you can help me:
- Donate here (any amount will help me!) My goal is to have this done by May so I can secure my spot.
- I am looking for anyone who works for a company that will match funds to help me get to the $2300 quicker!
- Follow the Las Bombas Team on facebook here so you can support any upcoming fundraising events: https://www.facebook.com/lasbombas3day/

Please support me as I take on an incredible challenge to make an impact in the fight to end breast cancer. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day® isn’t just a 60-mile walk over the course of three days—it’s a journey to the end of breast cancer. Komen has a Bold Goal—to reduce the current number of breast cancer deaths by 50% in the U.S. by 2026. That’s why I’m walking and raising money—to make that goal a reality.
