April 13, 2015 was the day my favorite doctor called to say I had breast cancer, not to worry though, he had a great team of doctors who would get me healthy. From day one my family and friends loved me through it. My last scan in May 2018 was clear. I pray my friends in treatment have a great support system. My teammates Amy, Pattie and Kim are all SURVIVOR SISTERS. Love my 3 Day Pink family, we celebrate our victories, remember those we've lost and keep fundraising/walking/praying for a cure. TOGETHER we can all make a difference. I am on a mission to remain cancer free, to be healthy and see my kids grow up, celebrate more birthdays and anniversaries with Rob. The surgeries, chemo and radiation were brutal. I have to take Tamoxifen for seven and a half more years, and as much as I hate the medicine, I pray it is working.

Please support me as I take on an incredible challenge to make an impact in the fight to end breast cancer. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day® isn’t just a 60-mile walk over the course of three days—it’s a journey to the end of breast cancer. In 2016, Komen announced a Bold Goal—to reduce the current number of breast cancer deaths by 50% in the U.S. by 2026. That’s why I’m walking, and raising money—to make that goal a reality.
