Please support me as I take on an incredible challenge again in 2017. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014. I decided to walk in the 2015 Komen 3Daay in San Diego. It was such a moving experience that I walked the 60 miler again in 2016. I had the honor to be part of the Survivor Circle. The flag I carried was Fearless! It was fitting because I am fearless in my efforts to raise money to fight cancer. I am willing to challenge my 67 year old body again in 2017. We walk because we must end cancer....Please support me by making a donation.
Our Hands Up for Hooters Team is only 2 years old, but we are the second largerst team in the USA.. We reaised $150,000 in 2015 and $230,000 in 2016. Our goal for 2017 is to exceed $300,000..
The Susan G. Komen 3-Day® isn’t just a 60-mile walk over the course of three days—it’s a journey to the end of breast cancer. Seventy-five percent of the net proceeds raised by the 3-Day® help support Komen’s Research and Training Grant Program and large public health outreach programs for women and men facing breast cancer. The remaining 25 percent helps fund local community and Affiliate support and outreach programs.
