Five years ago I signed up for the most challenging and rewarding physical & emotional journey that I have ever experienced. I walked in the Susan G. Komen Atlanta 3-Day and at the end of many months of fundraising, training and ultimately completing the entire 60 mile walk over 3 days, I came out on the other side of that finish line with a whole new perspective and outlook on life and what it means to be a warrior, fighter and a survivor. This year I decided to take on that challenge again but this time I will be walking in Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly (and Sisterly) Love, on August 25-27. As these last training days come to a close I am overwhelmed with excitement about my trip to Philadelphia in the next two weeks! All these months of training will be put to the test as we walk all around this amazing city toward the common goal of reducing the current number of breast cancer deaths by 50% in the U.S. by 2026!
Please consider supporting me either by making a donation or maybe being a walking buddy with me during some of my training. If you do not feel comfortable donating online then please feel free to email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) and I can help you.
Thank you for your support!
