       Here I go again off on my 4th consecutive year for the SGK 3-DAY FOR THE CURE and keeping my promise for yet another year with the help and support of my Friends for Toni.....  I WALK as the Daughter of a Long term SURVIVOR myself,  my Mum was diagnosed with Cancer not long after finding out that she was pregnant with me and was advised to terminate the pregnancy, (which she obviously didn't do! yay), and I am Thankful for. My Mum subsequently had me a little early and then had a double mastectomy and by the Grace of GOD has been in remission, (a few slight bumps in the road) but she always said "creaking gates hang longest"..  I WALK in Honour and rememberance of my BEST FRIEND Toni Andrews who lost her BRAVE and COURAGEOUS battle with Breast Cancer on 9/10/2011,  we walked Our 1st SGK together in 2010 as part of Toni's "Bucket List" and I continue on now as a Promise made to her and her wish by her bedside until either a CURE is found or I am unable to walk any longer (I am definitely hoping for the the CURE!!! for ALL the reasons!!)  :)    I WALK also in HONOUR and in AWE of a very close Friend of mine and one of my most AMAZING and GENEROUS sponsors over the past 3 years by the name of PHYLLIS MEADOWS , who is herself a long time SURVIVOR and going strong... THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT,, FROM THE HEART..  MUCH LOVE

     I WALK for my 4th consecutive year in HONOUR of ALL of OUR loved one's whom we have lost to this despicable and non-discriminating disease,,, for those who are still are waging their own war on a daily basis to bring this disease to its knee's and for those who fought and WON and are now amonst the many Blessed SURVIVORS. Also I WALK so that in the near future NONE of our future loved one's will have to endure the chemotherapy or the radiation and all of the other experiences that go along with this disease and that we never again have to lose anyone else that we love to this disease.. WE WILL WIN THIS BATTLE...
