Dear Friends and Family,

Please support me as I take an amazing journey in the fight to end breast cancer! The Susan G. Komen 3-Day™ is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Seventy-five percent of the net proceeds raised by the Komen 3-Day help fund national research and large public health outreach programs. The remaining 25 percent helps fund local community and Affiliate support and outreach programs.

I am honored to be a part of this amazing event and I'm proud for the example that I'm setting for my two children and my students.  My part though small may decrease the chances of my daughter living in a world without breast cancer. Myself along with thirteen other women have put a team together to take on this journey together. My team together will raise $50,000 towards breast cancer research.

Our inspiration comes from a friend who fought breast cancer this past year.  Her confidence and amazing strength has pulled us all together to do our part in the fight against breast cancer.  She is a breast cancer survivor and I'm honored to be walking beside her.
