I admit it.  I was going to take a year off from doing the 3-Day walk this year.  I was fortunate enough the last three years to have such AMAZING people in my life that helped me with my fundraising.  I simply didn't want to ask for donations from you all again.  I thought I would give all my friends & family a year off!  As the time nears (which is only FOUR WEEKS away, my heart is pulling me again to hit the pavement.  There is something in the 3-Day that is in my blood and I just can't seem to shake it! As you all know my friend Tracy Dart who I walk for has battled breast cancer three times in the past.  Unfortunately, her blood count is up again and she might be fighting it again.  She is the strongest, bravest person I have ever met in my life!  She has gone through numerous radiation and chemotherapy treatments over the years.  All before the age 40.   When she sees you she will ALWAYS have a smile on her face and will always ask how "YOU are doing!"   She always wants to make sure that your life is good regardless of what she's going through in her life.  She is the definition of giving.  She personifies a warrior.  She is love in everything she does.    

It goes without saying that I would feel honored to be walking by her side this year.   I can't imagine NOT being there for her!  They say it takes a village.  This year, it will take a FAST village to make this happen.
