Hello Friends,
I'm walking 60 miles over three days this fall in two citites, San Diego and San Francisco to raise awareness and critically needed funds for breast cancer research.
I'm walking way more than that training for these events.
I"m walking because Nancy Brinker made a promise to her sister SGK that she would do whatever she could to...
I'm walking to ensure that everyone gets the WHOLE lifetime she or he deserves.
I'm walking to make sure that every mom gets to help her daughter pick out her prom dress.
I'm walking to make sure that no woman has to hear the words "You have breast cancer."
I'm walking because I believe that we can end breast cancer in my lifetime.
I'm walking because I'm tired of sitting on the sidelines...
I'm walking because research costs money.
I'm walking to make sure that underinsured women don't have to choose between paying the rent and having a mammogram.
I'm walking for my Great Granny, my Granny, my Auntie and my Mom who have all battled this disease.
I'm walking because I can.
I'm walking because I believe.
I'm walking because I can't walk away.
I'm walking because my girls think it's cool.
I'm walking because I have a closet full of pink work out gear.
I'm walking because it's the most fun I'll have this year.
I'm walking because my Mom IS joining me!
