2012 marks my 8th 3-Day Walk to help find a cure for breast cancer and I would never had thought in a million years that I would still be training, walking and fundraising to help find a cure! But I am and for that I am greatful.  I'm not a breast cancer survivor but I'm on the other end of heartbreak in losing friends to breast cancer and other cancers. It breaks my heart to think that my grandchildren, Logan, Sara & Gianna, will ever have to go through the treatments and pain that my friends have gone through.  If this is my 'purpose' I hope everyone will make it their 'purpose' to join us in the fight!

Since 2006 I have been a member of Team W.I.S.H. Arizona, which is a fabulous group of men and women who care enough to make a difference.  It's a beautiful world we live in and we're only here one time so remember, when you donate to Susan G. Komen, you are donating to save lives, continue research, give women and men a chance to live...when you close your check book, you close their chances on living a life they deserve.
