Carrying the Friend Flag what a Honor!
I have the Honor of carrying the Friend Flag. In the opening and closing flag ceremonies in the Tampa Bay 3-day walk for the cure!
Oct 28-30, 2011 Please help me reach my goal!
Who I am Walking for!
Sandi (Biggs) Webster

G Lois McNaughton
Lois Kastel
Janet Frost
One of the reasons that I am walking is so that all Aunts, Sisters, Mothers, Daughters, Nieces, Friends or anyone well not have to go through this experience.
80% of people with breast cancer do not have relatives with breast cancer. So please believe in early detection is the Key to survival, because if the cancer is found early, you have more treatment options.
I have been given the honor of carrying the Friend Flag, in the opening and closing flag ceremonies int the Tampa Bay 3 day walk for the cure! October 28-30 2011.
My story:
I lost my mom to ovarian cancer at the age of 14. My grandmother and my Aunt Della also were taken from ovarian cancer. My sister Bobbie is a ovarian cancer survivor, my brother Bill is a prostate cancer survivor.
Last year my childhood friend Sandi was diagnosed with 4 stage breast cancer. I was able to be there for Sandi in-between her chemotherapy and her radiation treatments. Then I was blessed to go to Michigan and take her to her radiation treatments. Sandi had the most amazing faith that I have ever seen in anyone. How she fought the battle was truly inspirational to me. I could only hope to have that kind of faith! Today Sandi is a breast cancer Survivor! I also have a good friend Brenda that is fighting Liver cancer today. Cancer had touched every part of my life.
So, I want to be part of the solution! I can walk 60 miles! 85% of my extreme fund raising will go towards research to find a cure.
So again let me say Thank-You for helping me reach my goal of $2300.00 So I can walk to help find a cure!
This walk is very important to me.
