breast cancer! The Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure® is a 60-mile walk
over the course of three days. Net proceeds from the 3-Day for the
Cure are invested in breast cancer research and community programs.

My Story

I have been a Mammographer for 15 years, so I have always been
passionate about breast cancer research. In June of 2010, I became a
victim to Stage III breast cancer, at the age of 35. After a bilateral
mastectomy, 16 weeks of chemo and 30 Radiation treatments, I am feeling
great and ready to give back. I am walking because I want to build a
future without breast cancer. The picture above was taken of me and my
2 boys (Jacob & Max) the week after my diagnosis last year. They are
the reason for my fight!!
