In loving memory of my mom

Rebecca Oldenburg passed away 12/09/2008 after fighting a losing battle to breast cancer that had also moved into her lungs. She was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer a year prior to her passing. This disease stole my mom from me way too early! She was only 50 years old and still had a lot of living to do.

The Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds from the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure™ are invested in breast cancer research and community programs.

My Aunt Niki and I will be doing this walk together and I'm so grateful to have someone like her in my life.

So far I have logged over 150 hrs of walking for training!! This already has been a lot of fun and hard work. Thanks so much to all of you who have already donated!! It means a lot to me!
