For my mom!

I am asking for your support as we once again take important steps toward the possibility of a world without breast cancer. I will be walking 60 miles in September 2010, along with my friend, Jessica, for just that reason.

This will be my first 3-Day event and I do it, in honor of my loving, courageous, spirited mother, Mary. Not long ago my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer - those words were the most awful words to hear. So I walk - I can't cure cancer on my own, but with all of us working together we can make it happen!

The Susan G. Komen 3-Day For the Cure is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment.
