I am a firm believer that God does work all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purposes (Rom 8:28). My mom was called to battle breast cancer 7 years ago and I got to watch first hand how God does use things, no matter how terrible, for His glory! That time for me was such a time of spiritual and personal growth. I learned to be a prayer warrior and to trust and fully rely of God. My mom is still here with us and amazingly healthy!
I am well aware of my risks of being diagnosed, but I look at my sweet daughter and think of years down the road if Cancer were to strike her. I want to do all I can to support the fight against breast cancer for HER. Through prayer and financial support, I plan to contribute to the research for curing this disease. This is why I am walking the 3-day this year. I will be walking with my 2 beautiful sisters and my amazing mom. Please pray for us as we walk this journey together.
