Almost seven years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I knew that nothing touched me that God did not allow. My prayer was that He would use it for his glory. During my second surgery my husband led my mother to Christ. We had been praying for her for over 35 years and God knew this was the time. It was a difficult time in my life but I knew that God had a plan. I am blessed to be walking in this event to raise support for those who are currently or will be going through this devastating disease. I am going to be walking with some of the most amazing women in my life. . . . my three daughters and one of my dearest friends. We will be walking in Chicago, Aug 7-9. Our prayer is that we will be a light to those in need and that we will be able to share Christ's love with those He puts in our path and let them see the peace that comes through Him.
