Why we will walk.....

My mom is a survivor of breast cancer. Through her incredible ordeal, God revealed Himself to us in so many unbelievable and amazing ways. This year, we are banding together and we will walk to overcome, just as God has overcome this world! John 16:33!!!!

I will also be walking for my great mother-in-law who is also a survivor of this terrible disease. She also has a niece (my husband's cousin), Kelly, who is also a survivor - praise the Lord!

We have so much to be thankful for with the survivors in our families. God is good.

I will be walking with my mom and sisters and other friends from August 7 - 9 in Chicago. If you are interested in joining our team, please do!!! We would love to have you as we laugh, fellowship, probably cry and complain about our feet and just love on each other.

Please support me as I take an amazing journey in the fight against breast cancer! The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment.
