How do I book a room?
For Thursday and/or Sunday night reservations, go to our travel agent’s host hotel reservation portal. This site is maintained by the 3-Day’s travel agent, and all reservations must be made through this site in order to get the 3-Day package rate.

For Friday and Saturday night reservations, your hotel room is included as part of your participation (for 3-Day Walkers and crew) at no additional cost to you. In order to secure your hotel room, you must complete online check-in, meet your fundraising requirement, and select your roommate(s). Once online check-in opens for your 3-Day event, you will find a link to select your roommates for your Friday/Saturday night hotel room in your Participant Center.

2-Day Walkers: Only your Saturday night hotel room is included in your participation. If you wish to make a reservation for Friday night, you may do that through our travel agent’s host hotel reservation portal.

1-Day Walkers: A hotel stay is not included in your participation. If you wish to make a reservation for Friday or Saturday night, you must contact the hotel directly.

We anticipate that online check-in and the host hotel reservation portal will open approximately 90 days before each 3-Day event. Exact dates will be posted here later.

Do I have to pay for my hotel room?
For Thursday and Sunday night, yes.

For Friday and Saturday night, the 3-Day will cover the cost of the room plus taxes for 3-Day Walkers and crew members. You are responsible for any incidental charges, such as parking, that you may incur during your stay. 2-Day Walkers will be provided with a Saturday night hotel room. 1-Day Walkers are not provided with a hotel stay and are responsible for the cost of any hotel reservations you make.

When you check in, the hotel will require you to put a credit or debit card on file for incidentals, even if you do not plan to charge anything to the room. Your card will not be charged unless you make a purchase. However, the hotel may put a “hold” on your card for incidentals, which will be released after you check out. Specific charge amounts and details will be posted on the Travel Info page.

How do I book my Friday & Saturday night hotel room?
Complete the online check-in process and your fundraising requirement to reserve your Friday and Saturday night hotel room and select your roommates for Friday and Saturday night. Note: This is for 3-Day Walkers and crew only. 2-Day Walkers will be provided with a Saturday night hotel room. 1-Day Walkers and people who are not registered 3-Day participants will not be provided with a Friday or Saturday night hotel room.

The 3-Day travel agent’s host hotel portal does not manage reservations or roommate selection for Friday and Saturday night hotel rooms for 3-Day Walkers. That is only done by completing online check-in through your Participant Center. If you make a Thursday and Sunday night reservation through the host hotel reservation portal, your reservation confirmation will show as Thursday to Sunday, but it does NOT include Friday and Saturday night for 3-Day Walkers or Saturday night for 2-Day Walkers. Friday and Saturday night rooms are managed and booked by the 3-Day after you complete online check-in.

Are Thursday & Sunday nights also included?
No. Thursday and Sunday night stays are an optional choice and the cost is the sole responsibility of the participant. Only Friday and Saturday overnight stays are included for 3-Day walkers and crew. If you raise at least $5,000 for your 2024 3-Day, we will cover the cost of your Thursday night hotel room, plus round-trip airfare to and from the event. Click here for details.

How do I know if my Friday/Saturday night hotel room is reserved?
On your Participant Center home page, in the Online Check-in section, if your Roommate Status is “Assigned,” then you have a confirmed hotel reservation for Friday and Saturday night (Saturday night only for 2-Day Walkers). The hotel will not send you a confirmation email. If you contact the hotel, they will not have a record of your reservation associated with your name. Participant rooms for Friday and Saturday night are reserved and managed by the 3-Day in our room block.

If you make a Thursday and/or Sunday night reservation through our travel agent’s portal, the hotel may send you a confirmation email. This confirms your reservation for Thursday and/or Sunday night ONLY and is not related to your Friday/Saturday night hotel stay that is part of your 3-Day participation (or Saturday night hotel stay that is part of your 2-Day Walker participation).

Where will “camp” be? (Main Street, Medical, Food…)
One main hotel will serve as our host for camp which will include meals, 3-Day Main Street, and participant lodging. Camp will be located in ballroom spaces at the hotel, and the aspects of the 3-Day camp experience will all be there.

How many participants will be in each host hotel room?
On Friday and Saturday nights, you may choose to have 2, 3, or 4 participants in your hotel room. On Thursday or Sunday night, because participants will be making their own reservations, you may choose how many participants are in your room.

Can I have a hotel room to myself?
For 3-Day Walkers, on Friday and Saturday night, and for 2-Day Walkers on Saturday, no. Because the 3-Day will be providing those hotel rooms to participants, we require at least two participants per room, in order to be cost-conscious.

Can I pay extra to get a hotel room to myself?
No, the 3-Day does not allow participants to pay extra to secure a single room. That said, there is no obligation to stay in the room we offer. You are welcome to book your own room (at the host hotel or elsewhere) at your own expense. Keep in mind if you do make your own arrangements at a hotel different than the main host hotel you will also need to arrange your own transportation to/from the host hotel each day because that’s where the route will begin and end, and where all camp services will be located.

How many host hotels will there be?
There will be one host hotel and 3-Day camp and all programs will be held in that hotel. Participants will be housed in that hotel, or another nearby hotel if necessary.

What if I don’t like that hotel? What if I have points/rewards at a different hotel? Will you pay for me to stay at an alternate hotel? And will there be shuttle service from other hotels?
When you complete the Roommate Selection step of online check-in, you will be asked if you wish to stay in the 3-Day host hotel in our room block. You may decline this room. If you decline the room we offer, you will be responsible for arranging your own alternate accommodations and transportation at your expense.

Will teams have adjoining hotel rooms?
No. While you will be able to select your roommate(s) with a room occupancy of 2 to 4 people you are unable to select who will be rooming near you.

Will we have to pay extra to park a vehicle at the hotel for the weekend?
Yes. Participants who wish to park at the hotel will have to pay the hotel’s parking fees. The 3-Day does not reimburse parking costs. Fees will vary by hotel.

If my spouse/friend would like to join me, but is not participating in the 3-Day, can I share a room with him/ her?
On Friday or Saturday night, no. Hotel rooms are assigned to 3-Day participants only, with a room occupancy of 2 to 4 people. People who are not registered 3-Day participants may not stay in a Friday or Saturday night host hotel room. On Thursday or Sunday night, because participants will be making their own reservations and paying for those nights, you may choose who is in your room.

How do hotel rooms work for 2-Day walkers?
2-Day Walkers will be provided with a Saturday night hotel room by the 3-Day. If you wish to stay Friday and/or Sunday, you may make your own reservation through our travel agent’s portal. On Saturday night, 2-Day Walkers are welcome to room with other 2-Day Walkers. If you would like to room with a 3-Day Walker, you must be the third or fourth occupant in that room.

What are my shuttle options?
Sunday night hotel reservations do not include shuttle service from the Closing Ceremony to the hotel on Sunday evening.

You may purchase a ticket for a shuttle bus from the Closing Ceremony site to the host hotel after the Closing Ceremony on Sunday. Shuttle tickets will cost $20 (cash or card) and can be purchased at the hotel on Thursday or Friday (2:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m.). You must purchase a ticket to board the shuttle bus.
